Hi there and welcome to my theater corner. Theatre take any form: from dance, drama, improv, cabaret, musical, to contemporary circus, ventriloquism, and puppeteering. As a drama aficionado, I believe that the magic of art performers resides in their ability to convey dream, feeling and thought. This belief is the root of my search of professional and independent theatre gems in bilingual Montreal.

The Delights section highlights productions that I attend, review and highly recommend monthly. If you wish to read past reviews, the Blog Archive is updated weekly. Shakespeare in the Park

Repercussion Theatre's mission is to bring classics to people where they live, and for free!

For this year's edition of Shakespeare-in-the-Park, Repercussion Theatre is staging Romeo & Juliet in parks all over Montreal from July 29th to August 22nd. In order to target a younger audience, the theatre team worked extensively on set design, costumes and sound to reflect today's pop culture.

Radio Interviews

* Vic Vogel et ses amis ont pour mission de promouvoir la richesse de la culture cubaine lors de La Semaine Culturelle Cubaine du 11 au 19 avril 2010. François Gourd, porte-parole du Symfolium, est de retour dans nos studios pour nous dévoiler le déroulement de cet événement.

* La 11ème édition du Symfolium continue sa tradition de partager la joie et le rire dans le thème de l'Université de Foulosophie. Le fondateur de ce mouvement, François Gourd, s'est joint à nous dans nos studios pour communiquer l'importance de nourrir notre esprit créatif. (1er avril 2010).

* I had a candid conversation with Davyn Ryall, the Director of Suddenly Last Summer, a one-act play written by Tennessee Williams in 1958 is staged for the first time in English at the McGill Players' Theatre (Sep 28 - Oct 4 2009).

* Last November, I had the unique opportunity to interview Tyrone Benskin, the Artistic Director of the Black Theatre Workshop. We discussed the themes behind his latest project called Swan Song of Maria playing at the MAI from Nov 3 to Nov 9, 2009.
