Just in time for Halloween, this is the true tale of Ester Cox who in 1879 became the most well documented poltergeist event in Canadian history.
Paul Van Dyck who has established himself as a brilliant actor with performances in the Real Inspector Hound, Paradise Lost, The Cyclops) writes and directs this theatrical piece. The all-start cast that includes Alexandria Haber (previously in Hellavator), Eric Davis (Shakespeare in the Park, Suburban Motel) and Kyle Gatehouse (The Whiteman's Whiskey Revue, Haunted Hillbilly). No complaints or regrets. As expected, Paul makes good use of his thorough research to bring this story to life on stage. All actors are convincing with celtic accents and 19th century sombre costumes (thanks to Helen Rainbird). As in any horror production, sound plays a key role in providing suspense and mood. This is executed by a stellar string assemble and the spine tingling sound scape arising from the other world.
