This is essentially a play with music, written by Stephen Temperley that tells the story of the career of American soprano Florence Foster Jenkins (1868-1944).

Over a 12-year career (1932-1944), she became a legend for her lack of rhythm, pitch and tone (played brilliantly by Nadia Verrucci). Florence Jenkins' talented accompanist Cosme McMoon (played by Chris Barillaro) shares with the audience the ups and downs of their unique relationship.
The music Jenkins tackles in her recitals include works from Mozart, Verdi and Strauss. Despite her lack of talent, one can only admire her perseverance and her deep love for music.
